We encourage the community to be aware of the criteria for COVID-19 testing to ensure we can prioritise and protect anyone at high risk of infection.

This includes anyone who has returned from overseas or had close contact with a confirmed case and developed symptoms within 14 days.

Symptoms include a fever, cough, sore throat or shortness of breath.

Community members should seek medical attention by calling their GP or healthdirect on 1800 022 222 or present to an emergency department or COVID-19 clinic if unwell.
