As NSW Health Pathology’s Director of Planning, Nerrida is responsible for leading the organisation’s strategic, operational and service planning and the management and support of strategic change projects and risk.  Nerrida has had a substantial career in organisational development, adult learning, management systems and leadership of change.  Most recently, Nerrida held the position of Director of Organisational Capability and Learning (OCL) for Hunter New England Local Health District.  In this role, Nerrida positioned the OCL service as a business-aligned, award-winning strategic partner to the organisation’s change agenda. 

Prior to working with Hunter New England Health, Nerrida was a Performance Improvement Consultant with Mayne Hospitals and the national manager of Learning and Organisational Development for SAI Global.

Nerrida brings a wealth of skills and experience in facilitation and change management. She is highly regarded for her values-based leadership and collaborative approach to delivering outcomes. In addition, she has an in-depth understanding of the role of quality and risk from her background as an internationally-certified management systems auditor and an evaluator for the Australian Quality Awards program (now Business Excellence Awards).
