Kevin Forward

Kevin Forward _webKevin Forward has been the Network Director of the Forensic &Analytical Science Service (FASS) since February 2011.

He was previously the Operations Manager for the NSW Organ and Tissue Donation Service, has worked in Ministry of Health with responsibility for the forensics portfolio and has served as the Executive Officer and Principal Policy Advisor and Project Manager for the NSW Chief Health Officer.

Originally from New Zealand, Kevin has a background in critical care nursing where he specialised in trauma and cardiothoracic intensive care and holds a Master of Science with Distinction in Biochemistry. Kevin has served in the NZ Army Reserve and NZ Army. During his miltary career, he spent 9 months in Iraq working at the British Military Hospital in Basra during 2004/05. He was also posted to NZ Defence Force Headquarters as the Assistant Director Coordination – Medical Policy and Staff Officer to the Director-General Defence Health Services.

While Kevin has settled into the Australian lifestyle, he remains an active supporter of the NZ All Blacks, Warriors and Silver Ferns.
