Associate Professor Rob Lindeman

Network Director, South Eastern Area Laboratory Service (SEALS) and Acting Network Director, Sydney South West Pathology Service (SSWPS)

Robert Lindeman is currently serving as the network director for our SEALS and SSWPS pathology networks.  He is a Laboratory and Clinical Haematologist based at Randwick. He is also the Medical Director of the Sydney Cord Blood Bank and is a conjoint Associate Professor in the School of Medicine at the University of New South Wales.

Rob has a background in laboratory molecular genetics and a specific interest in clinical and molecular aspects of haemoglobinopathies. He is on the Medical Advisory Committee of NATA, on both the Scientific and Ethics Advisory Committees of the Australian Red Cross Blood Service and on the Haematology and Cancer Advisory Committees of the Royal College of Pathologists Australasia.

Rob earned his medical degree and PhD from the University of Sydney and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia.
